I got a new job!

There are just too many weird people who keep stopping by my shop or when I am out relaxing on the benches.Everyone wants me to join their faction. I think there is some religious craze going on. People don't know anything about me, but they already want me to join a faction. (I still have no idea what they are talking about.) I stopped trying to figure it out and just politely decline.

But enought about that. I got a job in a Casino. It isn't too far from the pawn shop, but it pays better and is more fun. It is in a dumpy part of town, but it really isnt all that bad. I get the best tips working the blackjack tables.

Two strange men

Ok.. I had a weird night at my shop.  I stayed open to get anothter delivery.  While I was there Harpalos came by to get his shoes. 

 

There was another fellow.  Amd--something.  He said he used to be a government agent.  They were there when I got my second delivery.

For a little while I was a little nervous because they asked all sorts of questions.  Almost demanding what I got in the packages.

lmao.. it was just shoes, shirts, dresses, etc.  I am glad there were no guns in that delivery.  Even though I can sell them, its just easier if they arent involved when you have a pair of retired government agents hounding you. 

 

I think I'll go into work late today.

He finally came

He came back tonight with a nice shipment of pants and some shoes. I had to turn two customers away about 15 minutes before he showed up. Better late then never I suppose.

These two were acting goofy though. One kept asking me about awakening. It was pretty obvious I wasn't asleep so I don't know what she was geting at.

The other one kept whispering to me even though there were other people around. It was very unsettling.

What is it with Delivery Guys?

I finally find someone who can deliver a new shipment of products. They come right away.. with nothing. LOL.. He was in the backroom for like 30 minutes! Needless to say we didn't pay him.

He said he would be back later. Around 7:50pm he calls while I am in the shower. I run to get the phone in the middle of him leaving a message and manage to stop the machine after much loud screeching from the answering machine.

There I am dripping wet, naked and freezing while he tells me he isn't coming today. But will send someone named Namunai tomorrow. >:(

I've got to finish washing my hair.

$100, $100, $100

What a strange day.
I have someone come in looking for Brown Leather Shoes. Unfortunatly we are all out. He left a $100 deposit!!! for shoes!!

So of course I promised him I would let him know when some came in. I did manage to find a pair of brown aligator skin shoes. I hope they fit him.

Here is what is really weird. While I was talking to Harpalos (what is with these names?) about the shoes, some person with green hair came in and handed me $100 and then quickly left the shop. He never said a word.

I hope he doesnt want brown shoes too, I only have the one pair and it is reserved for Harpalos. That reminds me, I need to send him an email so he knows they are in.

Crazy Magicians

I met a very interesting person today. He called himself Fredwreck. Half the time he seemed like he was coming on to me. He kept doing things like slipping me a card with a phone number on it. He even convinced me to come down to Club Sphinx... something about cake. There was no cake there. But the bartenders were selling drugs. He struck me as a little weird. He kept showing off some of his magic tricks. Don't get me wrong, they were real good tricks... He reminded me a little of the Cryptos guy in the Sentinal. Except Fredwreck kept talking about the government taking away our choice.. or something like that. Half the stuff he said didn't make any sense. I suppose that goes with being a good street magician.
